Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner (/ntiq˔/ /ˈzɛnkwɛ lo̠/ [main] [razor]) is a subtropical Town located in the Fio̠dyokōn Moot of the Viceroyalty of Rosid.

The name Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner was founded by Spider Swarms Ielret, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Overview

Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner was founded durring the early 11th century, by Spider Swarms Ielret. The establishment of Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad packed earth streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Astonishigly, the frontieer-style defences are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner seems to be abandoned at first. There are people present, working their trades and going about their business like any community, it’s just they are absurdly quiet. Just as you start to think there might be trouble, you see most of them are smiling, quietly exchanging words with a friend, or simply enjoying the day as they work. It reminds you of an evening at home as everyone dined, having run out of things to talk about and embraced the savory meal before them.

Civic Infrastructure

Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner. Cultural Notes

Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is recurring in Ntiqüe Zënkwë Lo̠ Ner.
